Peniotrons

The main research fields:

-A Searching optimum on efficiency of penionrons at the account of all possible facts, bringing about reducing its efficiency.

-An Improvement of mathematical models of the peniotrons and development of software package to optimization the parameters and analysis of peniontons work.

Main results.

    The mathematical models and software packages in the programming system Delphy for peniotron amplifier and generator on the base of three-dimensional equations of moving the large particles with taking into account the forces of space charge are developed. In models the different types of electodynamic systems are considered. Emphases attention is given to much bound electrodynamic system with n=p+1 lamels. (p - a working harmonica number) in which TEMn,1-a wave natural formed. How show calculations the interaction with TEMn,1 wave is reached maximum efficiency in peniotrons.

Our calculations have shown that peniotron in the mode of reinforcement with taking into account space-charge brings about reducing efficiency in 2-3 times with contrast of calculation in kinematic approximation.

In peniotron-generator the influence of spage-chage on the reduction efficiency is less essential. However, it is revealed, that when the parameters of peniotrons near to such, under which is met the condition of gyroresonance with the counter wave the efficiency sharply decreases.

Our last accounts (10.8.1999) on search and research optimum on efficiency of the variants peniotron generator on a 10-th harmonics with TEM11,1,20 type of the resonator wave mode have shown, that the greatest efficiency 32-38 % is achieved for an electronic voltage 7-15 KV with beam microperviance 0.25-0.5 and pinch-factor 1.8-2.5.
